1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CSVtoSheets (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CSVtoSheets is a macOS application that automates the conversion of CSV files to Google Sheets by:

• Processing CSV files through drag-and-drop or file association
• Automatically creating Google Sheets using Google's official API
• Opening the created spreadsheet in your default web browser

3. License and Usage Rights

3.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control.

3.2 Lifetime License with Update Limitations

• Your purchase includes a lifetime license to use the version purchased
• Free updates are provided for 12 months from purchase date
• After 12 months, major updates may require a license upgrade purchase
• You may continue using your licensed version indefinitely
• Bug fixes and security patches may be provided beyond the 12-month period at our discretion

3.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

4. Third-Party Integration

4.1 Google Services Integration

The App integrates with Google Sheets via Google's official API. By using this App:

• You must have a valid Google account
• You authorize the App to access your Google Sheets on your behalf
• Your use of Google services is subject to Google's Terms of Service

4.2 Data Handling with Google

IMPORTANT: When you use our App to convert CSV files to Google Sheets:

• Your CSV data is transmitted directly to Google's servers
• We are NOT responsible for how Google accesses, processes, stores, or shares your data
• Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service govern your data once uploaded
• You acknowledge that sharing spreadsheets through Google Sheets is subject to Google's sharing controls

5. Privacy and Data Collection

5.1 No Data Collection

• We do NOT collect, store, or access your CSV files or their contents
• We do NOT store your Google account information beyond OAuth tokens (stored securely in your Mac Keychain)
• We do NOT track your usage patterns or personal information

5.2 Data Transmission

• Your CSV data flows directly from your Mac to Google's servers
• We act only as a conduit for this transmission
• We never intercept, store, or analyze your data

6. System Requirements

• macOS 12.0 or later
• Internet connection for Google Sheets integration
• Valid Google account

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 General Limitations

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

8.2 Data-Related Limitations

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your CSV data
• Google's handling of your data once uploaded
• Any sharing or privacy settings within Google Sheets
• Data breaches or security issues within Google's infrastructure

9. Payment Processing

9.1 LemonSqueezy Integration

All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our third-party payment processor:

• Payment Data: LemonSqueezy collects your name, email, billing address, and payment information
• Purchase Records: LemonSqueezy maintains records of your purchase for tax and legal compliance
• Refund Processing: All refunds are handled through LemonSqueezy's system
• Data Responsibility: LemonSqueezy is responsible for the security and privacy of your payment data
• Their Terms: Your purchase is also subject to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

9.2 Our Access to Purchase Data

• We receive basic purchase confirmation from LemonSqueezy (purchase date, license key)
• We do NOT receive your payment details, full billing information, or credit card data
• We may receive your email address from LemonSqueezy for license delivery and support purposes

10. Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase. To request a refund, contact us at contact@csvtosheets.com with your purchase details. Refunds will be processed through LemonSqueezy within 7 business days of approval.

11. Support and Updates

• Support is provided via contact@csvtosheets.com
• Updates are delivered through direct download or Mac App Store (depending on your purchase method)
• We reserve the right to discontinue support with reasonable notice

12. Termination

• You may terminate this license by deleting the App
• We may terminate your license for breach of these Terms
• Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete all copies

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
